Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty encourage COVID-19 frontline workers with Lad Lenge
With the ongoing increase in the number of cases every day, the risk to the lives of Coronavirus frontline workers has also been increasing. During the COVID-19 pandemic, doctors, nurses, ward boys and many others have played a crucial role during all the months of the pandemic. Varun Dhawan and Shilpa Shetty posted a video to motivate COVID-19 frontline workers featuring Harsh Upadhyay’s song ‘Lad Lenge.’ Shilpa Shetty uploaded the video on Instagram which shows her working out with her son Viaan Raj Kundra and nominated Varun Dhawan to drop his version of the song.
Along with a video Shilpa wrote, “This is for our frontline workers who are the true champions and need all our love & support. Let’s sweat it out for our heroes who don their PPE kits and fight even with dehydration every day!”

On the same day, Varun too was seen performing on the song “Lad Lenge” sung by Divya Kumar. Dedicating the song to the frontline workers, actor wrote, “For every reel of yours we will donate instant electrolytes to our frontline workers.” Actor nominated Bosco Martis, Remo D’Souza, Ganesh Acharya, Dharmesh and others.
Many Bollywood Celebs like Sonu Sood, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Salman khan, Ajay Devgan, Amitabh Bachchan are seen helping the people, institutions and hospitals to fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, actor Armita Rao and husband Anmol committed their fans to donate the oxygen cylinder to people in need. Actress wrote, “We urge All of you to convert your good wishes into some service to the Society & to the Nation. Since the last month we have already been working with our @oxygenarmy1 (in Mumbai) with tremendous support from many of you generous donors …and we pledge to continue so.”
Veteran actor Anupam Kher who was also in news for his foundation “Project Heal India”. The actor went live on Instagram and requested his fans to support his foundation. He informed, “In times like these, social media can be of great help! One ‘Follow and Share’ can help save a life. So, we humbly request you, to support us by simply following and sharing our page @anupamkherfoundation.”
