Rajshri Productions and Himesh Reshammiya Melodies have released a motion poster for the title track of ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’, building anticipation ahead of a grand live musical launch planned for the song on September 20 at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House.
Rather than opting for the now-standard digital song release, the makers chose to unveil the track through a live musical evening, with composer and singer Himesh Reshammiya set to perform it on stage backed by a 25-member orchestra. Sharing the motion poster on social media, the makers wrote that it offered a little glimpse of the magic coming their way, adding that they could not wait for audiences to experience the title track in full.
Music forms a central part of the film, with Himesh Reshammiya composing seven songs for the project, aiming for a sound described as simple, soulful and built for mass appeal. The film also marks a reunion between Reshammiya and director Sooraj Barjatya, who previously worked together on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.
‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ brings together Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari as a fresh on-screen pairing for the first time. Directed by Sooraj R Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films, the film is being positioned as a big-screen family entertainer in keeping with the studio’s long-standing tradition of music-driven storytelling, seen earlier in Barjatya’s ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 27.
